In 2004, the BoSox broke their draught, but Massachusetts Senator and war hero John Kerry wasn't able to become president because of some shenanigans in Ohio. So, I was actually a little happy to see the Cubs not break their curse. Pathetic? yes. True? sadly, also yes.
