Negative versus Dirty

There's a difference between negative ads versus dirty ads. McCain has decided to piss on what was left of his image as an honorable person and engage in false accusations and dirty politicsJohn McCain was a part of the Keating Five. He was there the last time a financial scam resulted in a bail out that initially cost tax payers billions of dollars. An ad about that is negative. It is also relevant and important. A lie about Obama "hanging around" with a guy who he served on a board with, or a comment taken out of context about how the war in Afganistan is being carried out is negative and wrong.

I don't know if it would work, but I would love to see Obama look across the stage and say, "John, you've been having your vice presidential nominee accuse me of hanging around with terrorists. You know that is a lie, and if there is one ounce of John McCain the Maverick, John McCain the ethical, honorable man who put a limit on how low he would go, if there is an ounce of that man left in you, I want you to apologize for letting these lies be told on your behalf and tell your running mate to stop it."
