TAMPA, Florida (CNN) – Ensuring that news of the Republican National Committee's sartorial spending spree will remain in the headlines for at least one more news cycle, Sarah Palin on Sunday sounded off on the $150,000 wardrobe that was purchased for her in September, denouncing the report as "ridiculous" and declaring emphatically: "Those clothes, they are not my property."It's like the Norm McDonal line--"Germans love David Hasslehoff"--the media hates Sarah Palin. I mean, pointing out how stupid the comment was from a political strategy standpoint seems really out of place to me.

Group Think
It is weird how the media seems to think together. For example, this morning CNN had a story about how unfair the coverage has been of Biden, how he has been hiding from reporters. Then the lead in for the next hour was "evidence" that coverage of McCain has been overwhelmingly negative, was that the result of "liberal bias"? Then I flip to Meet the Press and see McCain being allowed to avoid answering one question after another concluding with Brokov literally reading the Arizona Republic's endorsment of McCain and noting that forty years ago today his plane was shot down. Wow. It is so obvious that there is a real worry among the political reporters that they've been too hard on McCain. It is weird for it to come from so many sources. Of course there is still this:
