At this point, from my reading of the Intertubes, Joe the plumber has been more thoroughly vetted than Sarah Palin, and has given more interviews.

And I never want to hear about him again.

I think it may be unlikely that you'll never hear about him again. Particularly if the connection to Keating can be made.
