Awesome. Palin, after ritually pardoning a turkey (not shown) gives an interview, a mostly serious one, while several other turkeys are slaughtered behind her. It's a bizarre juxtaposition. The Governor's staff later said that they were aware of and had approved the background shots. I dunno, and I don't care. It's freaking awesome.
Also, now I know how turkeys are slaughtered.
