Did any of you catch McCain's pre-buttal to Obama last night? It was weird. Seriously, I heard it was bad, but didn't really realize it until I forced myself to watch it. Has he never learned to read a teleprompter? I. Am. Reading. These. Words. From. The. Machine. And that weird grimace-smile thing? Really, the pre-buttal was an idea which looked good on paper but probably he should have just gone to ground and let Obama have his moment in the sun, since, tactically, there's no way you can go up against the greatest orator of a generation in his moment of victory and not come off looking lessened in comparison.
