Sorry to distract from the interminable primary discussion, but two things that caught my attention in this post from Ambinder:

1.   Northwestern military/sociology professor Charles Moskos has died.   Somehow that makes me sad in a surprisingly personal vein.

2.   Former senator (and Senate Armed Services chair) Sam Nunn, Clinton's bete noir with regard to gays in the military (and in some ways responsible for breaking the early promise of the Clinton presidency) has come out in favor of allowing gays in the military.  

"Times change."

They sure do.
