George will has always been something of a Rorschach test for me. Sometimes he's incredibly good at making the most perverse argument seem sound and even incontrovertible. I get very frustrated with him sometimes, especially when he basis his theses on a mischaracterization of liberal ideals. But sometimes, he's just plain right, and very clear and well-spoken in his criticism of those in power.
Here's his takedown of McCain over habeas.

In the same Charlie Rose where he made the comments about condescension, he stated that McCain practices the politics of honor, so if you disagree with him, you aren't just wrong, you are dishonorable. I thought that hit the mark.
