Annoying security
I hate having to log in to read this, and I hate having to check it manually to see if someone has posted. If we remove the privacy screen, we could use RSS feeds. On the down side, it would mean that anybody could read our posts. But as long as we kept comments open only to registered authors (us), would it matter?

I'd prefer to log this in my RSS feeder.
Then again, if your RSS reader is anything like mine, it doesn't allow access to comments -- or even an indication that new comments have arrive. This is annoying so I end up loading the page anyway to check for new comments.
I'd like RSS to see when there are new posts.
