It's nice to see that we have identified the mythic "Welfare Queen" for the new millenium. The old one (black, innner-city single moms watching color TV and riding around in a cadillac) was too dated and too overtly racist, and never had a face that people could stare at for the Two-Minute Hate.
Nadya Suleman is white, but has a slightly foreign-sounding name (possibly an illegal immigrant? Stay tuned!) but she had a work-related injury that sounds bogus, got lots of state money which she "diverted" to creepy IVF purposes what ought not to be allowed, not even married, three of her kids get social security benefits, the state has to pay for all these babies, and she just had eight more.
Expect this one to linger in the public awareness for a while. I'll be surprised if it doesn't prompt regulation of the IVF industry -- which might not be an entirely bad thing, but coming in this reactionary mode will almost certainly be done wrong.

I thought you were going to name the homeless woman that has received so much sympathy from all but the most evil people in our country. Living in her car with her son.
