Is there any way the consultant class will recognize that the main problem the Democratic Party has this year is the enthusiasm gap, and that had the Party not bent over backward to appease conservatives for fear of standing for something, they would not have lost the support of their base?

President Obama took charge of the party, and he campaigned on the idea of bipartisanship. Do you think he was spineless, or do you think he believed?
I think he believed. But I think there is a lot more to the party than Obama. Obama is a principled centrist.
My hope is that after two years of zero support and losing--hopefully only--one house of Congress he will realize the need to not let his personal desire to be a uniter prevent any work from getting done.
On the other hand, the fucking retards who did not call a vote on the middle class tax cuts should be shot.
